Here's what works for me on LinkedIn!
Hellooooooo!
God, what a week… or maybe a couple of them, to be honest.

Things are looking good-ish. Finally seeing some movement in the $5K challenge, but more on that next week.
Today, we are breaking down what works for me on LinkedIn.
First up: Talking about AI
These are my top 3 posts from the last 90 days, all centered around AI.
They are mostly sarcastic or offer a slightly offbeat opinion.
Had a strong hook
The body made people think, hmm, she’s onto something
Then came the harsh reality check
Wrapped up with an emotional plea: leave us writers alone
Opened with a relatable hook
I spoke as a writer using AI
The second line hit home for anyone who's used ChatGPT
A few real-life examples followed, ending with a tired sigh
And this post:
Focused on the struggle of writers dealing with AI detectors
It worked well because:
I’m a writer
AI is everywhere right now
It was emotional and relatable
Second: Posts about freelancing
When I talk about my journey, share actual earnings, and lessons learned, other freelancers relate. These posts show that freelancing isn’t all sunshine, as people often make it seem.
Third: Posts that teach

How-tos with short, snappy hooks perform well. The first point being visible encourages readers to hit "see more" because they already know it’s worth their time.
Bonus: Announcements

Posts where you announce something, anything, tend to do well.
60% of the comments say "congratulations," even if the caption is about AI taking over the world.
This comment pretty much sums it up!

Quick Recap!
Topics that are trending and painful (like layoffs, AI, return-to-office)
Sarcasm works. Not many people use it on LinkedIn
Humor is underrated. A good laugh always lands
Understand your audience’s pain points. If you share or solve them, your posts have a better chance of working
On the personal front:
Sharing more memes on my LinkedIn page
Still at it with the $5K challenge on X (Day 12 was yesterday)
Signed a personal branding client (pilot till end of May)
This week, Trending on Fully Content (my B2B newsletter)
I really hope you find these tips helpful, and I see more of you on LinkedIn!
I was about to commit a serious crime today! Mangoes when?

See you next Friday!
Love,
Nikita
