Squeeze 30 hours in 24 hours

Sleep 10 hours. Zero burnout. But how?

Helloooooo!

How have you been?
7 months of 2025 gone!

How do you feel about it? I’ve got mixed feelings, which I’ll share in a bit. But first, let’s talk about last Sunday.

I took a session/webinar/still-thinking-what-to-call-these on Time Management, where I spoke about:

  • How I get so much content created while handling client work

  • How I handle burnout

  • How can you do it too

My dumb ass was so skeptical no one would show up, I didn’t even record it. Looking back, I should’ve done it just for my own sake… but yeah.

Let’s get started.

Here’s how much content I create:

  • LinkedIn: ~20 posts/month

  • Twitter: ~3 tweets/day

  • Substack: 1 Note a day, 1 newsletter a week (sometimes more)

  • Beehiiv: 2 newsletters/week

  • Client work

  • Community management (Noice!)

  • Oh, and ‘Build’—recently added in July

But how do I actually fit it into my day?

Honestly? I wing it.
But here are a few rules I live by:

If it takes less than 5 mins, do it immediately.
For example, if I’m in the middle of client work and a tweet clicks, I post it right then. It gives me a mini-break and keeps the ideas flowing.

(Of course, this doesn't work for deep work, because ideas don’t strike when I’m hyper-focused.)

Let your mind wander. Always.

I cannot sit still for an hour straight. My brain hops. I used to fight it.
Scold myself for not “focusing.” But I’ve realized—wandering brain = best ideas.

If you turn creation into a chore (like “30 comments on LinkedIn”), burnout is inevitable.
Instead, ask: What’s something I can do that doesn’t feel like work?
Stick with it for 3 months.

I didn’t start my 4th newsletter to hit a goal.
I did it because I was reading more and wanted to write reviews.
If that turns into a book community? Even better.

Simple rule:
If it comes naturally, I do it.
If it feels forced, it fades out on its own.

But sometimes, forcing helps.

You can’t force a hobby.
But you can force content—especially when you know it’ll help in the long run.

When I started LinkedIn, I posted 3× a week.
To keep myself going, I set mini-challenges:
Only text posts this month.
3 carousels minimum.
30 days, 30 stories (I gave up in 10 days. That’s okay.)

Same with Twitter. I posted one word a day. That habit built momentum.
And now? 1000+ tweets in 5 months.
It’s quick. It’s low-stakes. I can shitpost freely and not care!

Change your mindset.

If you think, “Ugh, I need to write a LinkedIn post,” you’ll get stuck.
But if you think, “Ooo this could be a LinkedIn post,”—there you go, you’ve got one.

Hack:
As soon as an idea clicks, write it down.
In your Notes app.
Or WhatsApp yourself.
Or scribble it somewhere. Just don’t let it escape.

me in the middle of a conversation

Where do most of my ideas come from?

Conversations + Observations.

Conversations:
Someone in the community said I should share how I fit 30 hours in 24.
That became the session.
Then a LinkedIn post.
Now this newsletter.

Someone else asked how to approach their boss for an appraisal.
Boom—another post idea. I shared how I did it.

Observations:
Too many posts on em dashes?
Content writers panicking over AI?
I write a take—funny, sarcastic, whatever fits.

I saw a friendly comment on a formal hiring post once. Wrote about it.
It became my best-performing post to date.

If I see a hook I relate to, I save it to rewrite my own version later.

Quick tip:
Spend more time on the platform you want to create content on!

Creator mindset = seeing ideas in everything.

Even when you're busy.
Even that busyness can become a post.

I will always preach this: Just. Start. Creating.
Think about “What will it give me?” later.
Forget perfection.
Share what you’re learning, what you’re struggling with, what you’re celebrating.

Get into the habit first. The ROI comes after.

Work in energy zones, not just time blocks.

I used to be a night owl, working till 4am when the house was quiet.
But then I wanted to be healthier (I was waking up at 12 lol).
I forced myself to shift routines. It sucked for weeks.

Mornings now? Super focused.
Post-lunch? Useless. I can’t work at all.

So I finish all major tasks before noon, and it’s helped a lot.

You don’t have to wake up early.
Just figure out your high, mid, and low energy windows, and work with them.

How to avoid burnout?

Easy answer: I don’t feel it.
Not because I work less. But because I stress less.

Burnout isn’t caused by how much you work. It’s caused by how you feel about it.

During my corporate job, I barely worked, but always felt guilty. Always had to “prove” myself. Constant stress = constant burnout.

Now I’m my own boss (a strict one, but still mine).
I decide when and how to work.
That freedom makes me want to work more.

Work doesn’t feel like work anymore—it’s part of who I am.

Here’s a video that explains the science behind it!

Create before you consume!

You’ve watched 100s of tutorials on editing reels.
But unless you’re actually editing, none of it sticks.

You watched Tanmay Bhatt talk about content creation—but forgot it by the time the video ended.

You can’t perfect something that doesn’t exist.
And once you start creating, the way you consume shifts. You observe differently. You retain more.

Too much to take?

Quick TL;DR:

✅ If it takes <5 mins, do it now
✅ Add EVERYTHING to your to-do list
✅ Do what you feel like doing
✅ Track energy, not just time
✅ Create before you consume
✅ Intentional consumption (Substacks, standup, shows)
✅ Capture ideas constantly
✅ Be kind to yourself on off-days
✅ Plug in hobbies (reading, music, chai walks) to recharge

Did this help?

I’m planning to do these sessions monthly, and you’re all invited!

But first… I need a name.
“Webinar” feels too formal. “Session” is okay, but meh.
Since it’ll be a regular thing, I want something fun and me.

Was this too long, or should I do a Quick August goals here?

The goals of Q3 were GROWTH, and August is a part of Q3, therefore:

Goal #1 - GROWTH (better, intentional, data-backed content across all platforms!

Goal #2 - Focus on health. I guess I am done being lazy, waiting for things that are not in my hands to change and use it as an excuse. We start tomorrow! (I am writing this on the 31st, so tomorrow)

Goal #3 - I was very positive that I would at least have an MVP to launch by July end but then life happened. I’ll focus on this and launch it around Aug 15th?

Goal #4 - Spend intentional time offline. I stay awake 14 hours, and my screentime is 20 hours! Need to keep that in check - also comes under health goals!

I guess that’s it for now! Lemme know what’s your biggest goal in August?

Next week, I will be sharing the analytics of how my Growth Plan went in July and what learnings we are taking ahead! You may wanna subscribe ;)

I wish you a beautiful August :)

I’ll see you next Friday!

Love,
Nikita
